I am a 23-year-old sociology and linguistics student living in Helsinki, Finland. My hobbies include singing in the choir, reading, drinking tea, knitting and language learning (I'm currently learning the basics of Dutch and Estonian). I like reading travel guides but since I'm quite afraid of new things and relatively poor, I rarely get to travel. Postcrossing will hopefully be my way to get glimpses of foreign cultures and new people.

I would especially love to receive cards that represent your country or culture and in which you tell about yourself and your hometown. I don't collect certain types of cards, so feel free to send me any kind, but I do love e.g. photographs (buildings, landscapes, nature...), paintings and book illustrations. Seasonal cards are always welcome, especially around Christmas!
