OSiO, (Hello in Cherokee)
I am a 49 year old school teacher in a very small town in rural Oklahoma; we have about 300 students in our entire secondary school (grades 9-12). I have been a teacher for 20 years and have taught in several different schools. I have 2 birth children--both grown and married, and 7 other children that my husband and I helped raise, also all grown and with children. I live on a farm in a very small town called Peggs, that is near Tahlequah, Oklahoma, (Home of our tribe--the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma).

I enjoy doing bead work, especially on tribal regalia and spending time with my grand-daughter, Ireland, who is four years old and grandson, Lincoln, one. I read just about anything I get my hands on...especially late in the evening when the house is quiet. I love old movies and science fiction or scary stories.

I mostly love postcards from the different countries, showing representations of what the residents are most proud, but I love postcards and short notes from your home country and share them with my students.
