About Roosmarijn...

{ note: if your card sent to me is expired, let me know, I will register it, so your effort will not be wasted and we can still enjoy your card on the walls }

Hello hello!
My name is a Dutch version of ‘Rosemary’
I’m a nurse from Amsterdam, working as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher (when you call for an ambulance)

During my travels I collected and dried flowers from most places I passed through, it became like a journal in stead of writing. I also make art with dried leaves now. My most memorabele trip was travelling the 'Silk road’ solo overland for 7 months, from my home country through Europe, Iran, central asia, China and Japan. Oh, still goosebumps when i think back... magical…
Also love painting with aquarel, dancing (secretly when i’m alone) and swimming in nature like sea / rivers / lakes, no matter how cold it is!

Please feel free to do or send ~whatever you like~
Love postcrossing at it’s original concept, but if you want idea’s:
* my wall of favorites shows an impression what style I love.
* art nouveau
* artsy cards
* mysterious ; love those!
* abstract photography
* black & white ; vintage look / funny / original / mysterious
* really colourfull or pastel colors
* surrealistic / alternative
* cards with a deeper meaning or story
* cards showing ethnicity or ethnic art or patterns
* vintage world map
* Japanese art
* activist people ; maybe write who & what they've accomplished
* animals you don't see every day

Ideas for what to write if you don’t have a clue:
• Little poem’s or quotes you like
• favorite lyric from a song you like
• A secret, or your favorite childhood memory
• Or if you're having a #$% day, tell me, because it’s part of us and it might feel good to write it off your chest…

Let’s spread love with a postcard and make the world more peacefull 💜
