About Robin...

I have been on a Postcrossing break for several years as our family has grown. I am now the proud mother of two beautiful young children. I'm hoping to share my love of postcards and our great big, beautiful world with them.

The postcards that make me happiest:
-NEW cryptids and spooky things. Not gross. Not clowns. I don't do gross or creepy clowns. Red balloons, however, are great.
-NEW churches and other places of worship
- pretty scenery (single images, not multiviews), or a view of someplace interesting in your country
- National Parks and historic sites
- retro travel posters that are in similar in style to these: http://robin.hapatrick.us/index.php/Retro-travel-posters
- cards relating to prisons or famous criminals, except Alcatraz. I have so many Alcatraz postcards now.
- postcards of nuns, especially nuns wearing habits of a color other than black
- llamas, because who doesn't love a great llama postcard?
- Gotochi (I realize these are very expensive to send, so I don't EXPECT anyone from Japan to send them. I'm just saying I think they are really neat!)
- postcards from towns named Alton (except Alton, Hampshire, England, I've got several from there). Weird request, I know. But if you got 'em, send 'em my way. : )
I prefer not to receive ad cards. But really, I'll be happy with anything you pick out for me!!! I want to share these cards with my 4 and 6 year old, so nothing risque, please.

The cards I've marked as favorites are a wishlist of cards I'd love to receive. I don't mark cards I've already received as favorites, but I love them all!

Send me a card with a greeting in your own language (with a translation, please) and it will make me smile. Tell me a little about where you live. Or I'd love to hear about a holiday that you celebrate only in your part of the world (like our US Thanksgiving). But most of all, have fun postcrossing!
