About Julia...

IMPORTANT!
Jolanda from Netherlands, I received your postcard but I cannot register it because there's no ID number. If you could send me a message with the ID, I'd be grateful.

Cześć, hello!

I'm Julia and I'm quite young - only 14 years old. But I still hope that, despite my age, I'll have much fun of being a Postcrossing member. :)

I live in a small, calm Polish town Mrągowo. It's really nice, I like spending my time here. Ones of my biggest interests are Hungary and Polish-Hungarian brotherhood (the way it evaluated through ages or some interesting, unknown facts and legends - trust me, there's a lot of that stuff ;]), history and learning about other countries' cultures and their relations with others. I also love travelling, drawing, writing, listening to my favourite music (IAMX especially), looking for some breathtaking books and reading Greek mythology.

I'd love all kind of postcards you'd send me, but I do appreciate pictures presenting something connected with your country/city - it can be a famous building, landscape, historical event/person, something from your culture, national symbols (flag, emblem, etc.), just whatever you have. Write anything you want to me, but not too short, okay? :) Also, if you tell me something about your area or write a few words in your mother language (with English translation, of course), I'll be very grateful as well.

And if you are from...
- Hungary and if you have a postcard with some Hungarian national symbols (St. Stephen's Crown, flag, emblem, Turul, etc.) or paintings of historical events (e.g. Hungarian Revolution of 1848, Batlle of Mohacs 1526) or figures (St. Stephen, Petofi Sandor, Kossuth Lajos...), I'd be absolutely delightful to receive one! By the way, I have always wondered if there are any postcards with some Polish-Hungarian accents, e.g. with Joseph Bem, Stephen Bathory... I have never seen any cards like this and because some people like Bem are quite popular in Hungary, I'm a bit surprised I haven't found anything with him in Postcrossing gallery yet.
- Greece, postcards with any mythological stuff are really welcome! Temples, ceramic paintings of gods/heroes, etc. are my favourite.
- Czech Republic or Slovakia, I'd love to see a view of Prague/Bratislava or any other city/town, some historical stuff or something national (I'm especially interested in clothes)
-Lithuania, street view from Vilnius or any other city/town would make me smile for the whole day. :) Obviously, history or special buildings (e.g. castle in Trakai) would be great as well.

If you still have any doubts, there's always a possibility to take a look at my favourites - it might help you in some kind of way. :) Still, I'm aware not everyone have a certain kind of postcard and that's why I'll love every thing I'll receive from you.

I'm so curious of what you're gonna send me!

Happy postcrossing to everybody!
