About Rick...

We are Rick from Germany & Anita from the Netherlands. We decided to start with Postcrossing, because a friend of ours really loves it and recommended us to start too. We love to travel and send postcards to our family and friends, this way we can make it even more fun and get in touch with people from all over the world!

Next to traveling we love to play (board) games and watch TV shows like House of Cards, Suits, Sherlock, The Blacklist, Designated Survivor and Modern Family (just a couple from the many series we follow;) ). Rick is learning Dutch and Anita is learning German, our goal for us both is to get fluent in the mother tongue of the other.

Rick loves football (or for the Americans: soccer) and follows the Bundesliga closely. He works In IT as a developer and project manager. Anita is working in e-commerce and is a vivid cook and baker.

We like to learn about other cultures, your favorite vacation spots and are looking forward to receive postcards from all over the world! :)

If you don’t know what to write about: let us know how you got to postcrossing, how much time you spend here or maybe what your most enjoyable moment was on postcrossing so far.

We are not requesting any kind of special post cards, but if you have a post card laying around that shows your city or country, feel free to send us that one!
