About Robyn...

Hello everyone! I'm in my 20s and live in a small town on the coast in England.

**Homemade cards are very welcome!**
Birthday cards welcome in October. Christmas cards are ok, but no religious ones please.

Please feel free to send any nice postcard except for fish (as I have a phobia) and nudes, but see below if you want some ideas of what I'll enjoy!

-Artwork by Leonid Afremov.
-Animals. No fish please.
-Cards showing a large single letter. Like this one: (any colour/style is ok)
-LGBT+ themed.
-Autumnal trees/leaves.
-Maps, especially world maps.
-The card you think is too weird to send to anyone else - I'd love it!

Specific wishes:
-floating otters holding hands.
-close up of a snowflake. Like this:

Cards sent not from country of origin are welcome. Handmade welcome. Ad/free cards are ok if they fit my wishes. Don't worry about avoiding duplicates.

(Favourites on my wall are the cards I have already received, not ones I'm looking for.)

I love the back of a postcard as much as the front, maybe more, so please would you write a message? If you don't know what to write tell me your favourite quote (with translation) or what you did today. Or tell me the fact that you find most fascinating. Or even draw something.

My general interests include reading (especially science fiction), crafts (sewing and quilting), the radio show Cabin Pressure, tabletop games and puzzles, video games (especially Zero Escape, hence my username) and of course postcrossing!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Instead of sending me a card, please consider helping me surprise my mum for her birthday ( Write 'Birthday Project' instead of my name on the first line of the address so I know that's what it's for. Thanks!

If you're not a member of the forum, here are the details:

It's my mum's birthday in early November and I would like to surprise her with birthday wishes from all over the world. She always loves seeing all the postcards I have received through postcrossing but has yet to join up herself. I'd like to start collecting them now to allow for any delays.

Some types of postcards she'd like:
-viewcards (only singleview from country of origin), she loves travel!
-cute baby animals
-unique cultural traditions/items
-anything turquoise or coral coloured
-Leonid Afremov
-beautiful nature.

(Folded cards are ok, too.)

Please no cards bigger then 12x22cm (4.5x8.5in) so they can fit in the gift box.

Please write your message to Chris and write 'happy birthday' in your language and if you have space could you tell her about where you live, like your favourite things about living there or what she should do if she visits there as she loves travel.
