I´m Reijo, 61, got pensioned in 2019 and moved back to my
childhood home. It is on a small island, with a narrow
strip of sea separating it from mainland.

Gardening keeps me busy in the summer period.
I have collected plants for bees and butterflies, and of
ornamental value. Some I have grown from seeds.
I´m most proud of the rare Rowan trees of Asian origin.
On a hot lazy summer day I might go on a picnic with
my rowing boat.
Picking mushrooms and berries in the autumn.

The winter period is spent with trying to keep the
houseplants alive, crosswords, reading plant-related
books, listening to music and watching movies of
Hollywood classics/sci-fi/period drama and action in
007/Mission Impossible style.
Favourite tv-series include The Crown, Star Trek:Picard,
The Last Kingdom, Outlander and Yellowstone.

My love for pop music started in the early teenage years.
The best music was made in the 1970´s!! Also like rock,
soul and country. I´ve seen many of my favorite artists
both in Finland and abroad. My hometown of Pori has
the longest ongoing jazz festival in Europe, www.porijazz.fi
with superstar headliners such as Elton John and Stevie Wonder.
My favorite song of all time is: Elton John 'Goodbye
Yellow Brick Road' 1973.
Other favourites include ABBA, The Eagles, The Bee Gees,
E.L.O., Fleetwood Mac, Donna Summer, Linda Ronstadt,
Pet Shop Boys, Josh Groban, George Michael, Prince,
Whitney Houston, Coldplay, The Carpenters, Steely Dan,
Robbie Williams and Queen.
