Hello from the state of Kansas, USA! I'm Larry and I work with libraries in the IT (technology) field. My passions are studying and learning about history, books (old and new), antiques (one can never have enough), hiking (okay, in the flat land I live many will call it walking) and photography.
I have traveled 35 of the 50 U.S. states, the Federal District of Columbia (Washington DC), parts of Austria, Canada, Czechoslovakia (parts now in the Slovak Republic), Hungary (Budapest Airport), Italy and Mexico. The most beautiful places I've been to so far are Hallstatt, Austria, Florence, Italy and the Yellowstone National Park in the US.
Types of postcards I enjoy are GF (Greetings From), Alexandra Dikaia postcards, wolves, military (especially WW II), WWII pinups, country flags, castles, trains and rabbits. If you don’t have any of these, no worries, any postcard is welcome!
I also enjoy private letter (penpal) exchanges and currently write to pen pals in Belarus, Czech Republic, the old Czechoslovakia, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, United Kingdom, Ukraine and the USA.
To my fellow U.S. Postcrossers, please join the campaign to request the U.S. Postal Service issue a Postcrossing stamp. You can do this by sending a postcard or letter to:
