About RaineyDay...

I've been watching and waiting for the mail truck for about 45 years now. It's my favorite time of the day! I love collecting postcards and I love the postage stamps too.

Please do not put my postcards in envelopes. I love the postage stamps as much as the cards. And I think the postal marks or signs of travel on a postcard just add to it's character. No need for envelopes!

I would love to hear any connection you have with another realm. Do you have loved ones in spirit that still feel close to you? Do you have any paranormal experiences you want to share?

Or, what is last book you read and do you recommend it? why or why not?

If you have a postcard you think is too strange to send to anyone, please send to me!

I love postcards that are artistic, unusual, bright colors, or feature children in native costume.
I love art post cards and strange postcards! I like postcards with people on them. Strange people, strange art. It's all good!

Don't be afraid to send me that postcard you don't know what to do with! I will be happy to have it.

Feeding the birds in my yard is a hobby of mine. I love postcards with birds in the illustration.

I like postcards featuring books or illustrations from books.

Churches, palaces or old homes are interests of mine.

I would love a postcard from the circus or one with a clown on it.

I collect recipe postcards.

I love maps and postcards with words or numbers.

I like postcards from places in your area that are special to you.

Also, photographs, black and white designs, cats, and recipes.

I would love postcards of working dogs. Or any dogs, especially the Great Pyreneess.

Other favorites to collect include any historical sites from any country. I have three almost grown bio children, and two little girls adopted from China in 2007 and 2009, so I especially love any sort of Asian art or place postcard.

I look forward to learning more about postcrossing and the people here.
