About Catherine...

Hello!

My name is Catherine (in Russian — Ekaterina or Katya in its short form) and I'm doing my master in history and archaeology. I live in Veliky Novgorod — it's a small ancient city with unique history which used to be the first capital of medieval Russia.

I like reading especially classic and romantic (i mean romanticism movement) literature and drawing. I will be really happy if you draw something on the postcard you send to me :)
Besides I can't imagine my life without nature and camping! Thanks to my job — I can spend even a month in the field or forest without mobile phone and internet and that's a greatest joy in my life!

If you would like to make me happy you can send:
— different views and scenery from your mothercountry
— landscapes and nature — most of all I like pictures of forest (both photos or paintings/arts)
— postcards connected with archaeology, history, traditions, culture etc of your city/country/region. Especially I will be happy to receive cards with traditional village, traditional costumes
— native peoples and ethic groups of your country or region (for USA — native Americans, Wild West)
— postcard from museums (official)
— Lantern press postcards
— funny cards
— cards related to COVID-19
— Ghibli studio
— vintage photos
— Mammoth, Buffalo, bison
— foxes and wolves
— illustrations by Inge Löök and other pictures in a similar style
— warm and cozy pоstcards

But of course it will be a great pleasure to receive any postcard you choose :) Envelopes and hand - made postcards are welcome!

For me the text is even more important than a picture. If you don't know what to write tell me about your hobby, your favourite book or place you have visit. By the way, you can tell about your town or country. And don't forget to put a date on the postcard ;)

W 2018 mieszkałam i studiowałam się 6 miesięсy w Opolu. Jeśli jesteś z Polski lub po prostu mówisz po polsku, proszę bardzo użyć język polski! Naprawdę chcę go poćwiczyć :) Dziękuję serdecznie!

Thank you and happy postcrossing!

Catherine
