Hello,
My name is Rae. My husband and I live in a small rural town in Florida. Plenty of wildlife...sandhill cranes, wild turkeys, wood storks, and ibis. I enjoy blogging about nature. I've worked for the Peace Corps, Forest Service, a Jet Propulsion Lab, and a film production company.

I was lucky to live in Kaiserslautern Germany as a child for three years. I loved the German brochen and gummy bears. In my late teens, I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for two years; one record breaking winter had 165 inches of snow, and -60 below. A contrast from the hot Florida sun.
