In a world of growing technology and the fast pace of life, I feel so disconnected from the human-ness of the world. Plus, I'm just getting old so most of the techie stuff is way over my head.

Postcrossing helps me get out of my head; to find joy, connect, and smile a little more. It's the little things (like postcards from around the world) that excite me and put a skip in my step. It's thrilling to open up my mailbox and get a glimpse of a fancy stamp knowing I have received a postcard! And every card makes me do the happy dance at the mailbox.

A lover of words and juicy quotes, I also adore music (playing, listening, singing, making mix tapes), drums, horses, hockey, gummi bears (Haribo), scratch and sniff stickers, baseball caps, books on rainy days, a rumbling thunder storm, campfires, vacuuming, waterfalls, limes, tortilla chips, and I'm a sucker for a good love story. But with that said, please send me anything. I'm your Wild Card.
