About Quek...

Hello Everyone! I am Mei Jun, 19, Singaporean Chinese, from the little island called Singapore. It's really hot and humid here all year round, but some days the weather can be really nice to sleep in when it rains.

I enjoy all things related to paper and arts and crafts. Which is a bit ironic because I'm actually quite into recycling, mostly paper products and books and clothes. I like all things crafty too! It's really a joy to be able to make something everyday,as a matter a fact, I love anything that is handmade from the heart! Other things I'm into are stickers, washi tape, notebooks, stationery and pretty pictures(I'm still learning how to use my camera though). I also like to travel, read books and exploring.

Some of my favourite stationery brands are Kikki K and Typo.

It would thrill me much to be able to receive postcards with:
> high quality scenic photographic views of different countries.
> quirky quotes
> illustrations
> pastel colours
> yellow themed ones
> real animals
> Hand lettering
> Vintage
> Anything related to the Spanish culture! be it food, clothes or just people on the streets
> interactive ones, like Braille or with textures.
> Europe, Korea, Japan themed
> photos of the Sunset
> Books
> Disney Characters
> Water colouring images

But don't be limited to these, they are just what i like. Feel free to send me anything that you like and is special to you, because it will be to me too! I enjoy exploring and learning new things.

I would appreciate it if you do not send me postcards that contain advertisements, abstract works of people's face, dolls or clowns. Also, I hope that you don't wish me Happy Postcrossing, as I don't want us to be just mere post crossers, but hope to establish a relationship with the people that I send me postcards and that I send postcard to:-)

There are no limits to the number of stamps you can put. The more the merrier because I would really love to see what kind of stamps other countries have.

Write anything you would like to me! Tell me more about yourself, where you come from and what your hobbies are! I would love to know more people who share the same interest as me, which is crafting. It would also be lovely to be able to learn a few words from your native language and what it means:-)

I have learnt Spanish for a short while and would be really happy to receive postcards from Spaniards.

* Do date and include your name on your postcards so I am able to record and remember when you wrote it :-)
