I moved to Washington State, USA, in November 2012, from Colorado where I spent most of my life. We are now "retired" and I now have a house with a large garden that I am always learning to take care of. I have traveled some, across the US and some Europe, mostly Italy. My grandparents are from what was Austria Hungry. My father says that we are Czech but we don't know where. I am especially interested in that part of the world. I enjoy receiving postcards from all over the world, showing architecture or scenery indicative of the area. I love getting postcards from new places with pictures of those places and I look them up on the computer and am learning many new things, like traveling without packing my suitcase. I love to do all kinds of crafts, photography, card making, reading and party planning. I love to cook and have a large library of cookbooks. I am a Grandmother of sweet children that we spend alot of time with. We live in a rural area on a large island and see many kinds of animals, lots of eagles and some sea animals and creatures. We have one cat. I usually have a couple of Bettas (fish) and I have "adopted" Grandfurbabies across the road; two mini horses and a mini donkey.
