Hello from Washington DC.
A little trivia about the District of Columbia where I live:
It is the Capitol of the United States of America but it is not recognized as a state. Because of that we have no voting representative in Congress even though residents pay taxes. www.statehood.DC.gov

I enjoy
- reading and audio books
- geocaching
- music (Indigo Girls, Bob Dylan, Death Cab for Cutie, Eva Cassidy, Amos Lee, Amy Winehouse, Jason Mraz, Nina Simone, The Decemberist's, Taylor Swift, Neko Case and Pink Martini just to name a few and I also enjoy acapella covers and covers in general.)
- Collecting Fiesta ware and almost anything by the Homer Laughlin Company
- I ADORE Thrift and Second Hand stores looking for treasures!
- Hand quilting and English paper piecing
- I also like playing word games - SCRABBLE, Words with Friends, WORDLE, Crosswords, Bananagrams etc...
