I am a Christian wife and mother to six children. I homeschool my children. I love traveling to new places, but especially love the beach and the mountains! I enjoy being with my family & friends but also like to be alone. I like to go to movies, shopping, or out to eat by myself. I love experiencing new foods, but do not enjoy cooking. I take lots of pictures and enjoy scrapbooking, when I find the time. I love reading and getting lost in a good book! Right now my favorite book is the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I enjoy family movies and period pieces, like Pride and Prejudice. My favorite music is Christian contemporary, with my new favorite song being "Oceans" by Hillsong. I was a Veterinary Technician before starting a family. We have always had lots of animals: horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, squirrels, lizards, snakes, turtles and fish. I love this great big beautiful world God made and hope to see more of it someday! I used to say serendipity was my favorite word. I still like it, but the way the world is becoming, I think my favorite word now is FREEDOM. What's yours?
