Hi!

I live in the wonderful town of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, with my husband, our baby son Jakub and our cat Shayla (Russian blue). I work as an anesthesiologist, but am currently at home with our son.

A few random facts about me :-)
- I am a big cat lover
- I like medicine and science generally
- I love:
--all sorts of creative activities (knitting, polymer clay, crochet, drawing..)
-- art (paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures..)
-- reading books
-- I´ve been doing tai-chi for a very long time too (with sword and sabre, too)
-- I love nature - flora (especially dandelions, magnolia trees and lilacs, lime trees, scenery and mountains too)
-- and the sea, ocean, beaches, boats, lighthouses and sealife are an absolute fascination of mine
-- I´m an ex-ballerina (when I was very small ;-) )

As far as postcards are concerned, I used to have a wishlist :-) but after giving it a thought and having visited profiles of many interesting people here at Postcrossing, I decided to simply ask for a postcard that you like, that you find interesting and appropriate for me. Afterall, it will be a surprise, so why spoil it ;-) The only request I have is not to receive free ad cards, please.

Feel free to write about yourself, your life and day, add a quote or a phrase in your native language and its translation, a good book recommendation (recently I fell in love with Scandinavian thriller books, but I also like all sorts of fiction books) or a few words of wisdom ;-)
