Hi, my name is Franzi and I live with my husband and our son in Leipzig, Germany.
The reason for registrating myself here is to receive nice post near all the mostly mad and official letters. Receiving some postcards with lovely pictures and grettings is surprise, whips a smile in the face and makes the day more sunnier. Furthermore it saves the jobs of our postmen and -women. ;D

My hobbies are writing, reading, sewing, knitting and watching crimes, especially with the inspectors Lynley (by Elisabeth George), Barnaby (by Caroline Graham) and Wallander (by Henning Mankell).
I'm interested in all what have to do with the era of the american civil war (as well the military side as the civilian side, the life, the fashion...). I love films concerning the american civil war, especially "Gone with the wind", "North and South"...
