Hello, my name is Lieve (54 yrs old) and I live in a village in Belgium (Flanders) with my husband Marc. I work fulltime in a printing company (www.groupjoos.com) but in my free time I enjoy the simple things in life: a good book with a nice cup of coffee, a beautiful sunset, the smell of lavender, a tasty dinner with a good glass of wine among friends and an occasional weekend trip nearby. We are real nature lovers and we like walking in the woods very much. Catching a glimpse of a deer, a fox or even a squirrel makes my day.
I am completely crazy about postcrossing, I love sending as well as receiving postcards, and I think postcrossing is supposed to be fun, so no rules, no do's or don'ts, just one request, let us please all respect FAIR PLAY !
Short version: just send me a postcard you would like to receive yourself.
Long version….. well just keep reading ☺
If you don't know what to send maybe some hints:
Christmas postcards in December * books * mail related * coffee * the four seasons * beautiful illustrations * wine & vineyards * shops/bistro's/restaurants * illustrations of houses * black and white cards with people * farm animals like cats, chickens, cows, pigs, sheep etc. (photo's and illustrations) * pantone cards (check list below) * erotic postcards * big people * people who are reading, writing, sleeping, smoking, eating or drinking.
And I don't even know if it exists, but if you would happen to have a card about my profession, the printing industry, that would be awesome.
And I also really ❤ tourist postcards showing something typical of YOUR OWN country, anything at all, even a local food package. I especially like it when the name of the country, region or city is on the front. I also like vintage travel posters, typical houses or animals and mapcards.
Postcrossers from the US and Canada, I am totally in love with Lantern Press Postcards ❤❤❤
Pantone cards I have received: green 3278, red 1797, fir green, grey 13-5304, caramel 16-1439 and aspen gold
But don't worry, I really appreciate any card that is sent from the heart and I don't have a wall of favorites because 99.99 % of the cards I receive fill me with joy !!!
To me Postcrossing is a unique way to connect with people all over the world. With a simple postcard we touch each other's life although we may be over a thousand miles apart. Amazing when you think about it.... Best wishes and a mailbox filled with lovely postcards to you all. Enjoy life to the fullest, look for happiness in the smallest things and let us be kind to each other ....
Thank you for reading my profile, and thanks for all the beautiful postcards I have received so far.
