About PrekChreyStudents...

Hello World,
We are a group of students living in the community of Prek Chrey in southern Kandal Province, Cambodia. It's a very rural area and the most people in our village live from agriculture, fishing or livestock. Our village is located close to the border to Vietnam.

As a part of learning about our world, the countries, cultures, traditions etc. we have decided to interact in Postcrossing with our English teacher, a volunteer from Germany. Thus we would really like to know what your country is like. What is typical for it, what are typical customs and traditions, what's the language and where is it situated? It'd be great to hear you tell your stories about your home country and we would very much appreciate you sharing this information. Maybe you have a postcard that symbolizes your country a bit? We'd be very grateful to receive one! We are curious to learn more about your country!

We'll gather all postcards and hang them up in our classroom, creating an interactive map of the world, with postcards from all over. It'd be wonderful if you could contribute to our small project and help us learn about the world with your own short story from your country!

Feel free to select any motif of postcards, but it'd be the greatest if it showed a typical sight in your country, so we can get an idea of what it looks like where you are from.

Thank you very much in advance!

P.S. The postal adress is from an organization that helps us with community development and peace resolution. Mail is always a thing in Cambodia, so it's safest to send it to Phnom Penh and have the staff take the cards with them, as they visit us every weekend.
