About Michiel...

Hello there!

My name is Michiel. 31 years old, born and raised in a small town near Rotterdam called Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands.
After living there for 29 years, I moved to a small place near Nijmegen, where I live with my my boyfriend.

My account on Postcrossing was inactive for a long time, due to many changes in my personal life.

But lets tell something about myself...

I work full-time as a IT Consultant for a small company that helps other companies with their IT Projects.
Besides my work I have a very busy social life. Visiting friends or family for chat, drinks and a good conversation. Or visit the theatre or cinema with my boyfriend.
I am very addicted to TV shows like Homeland, ER, Suits and House of Cards and watching a film in the cinema.

Also I like to travel. A road-trip through a country or just city trips to cities like Barcelona, Paris, London and Washing DC.

That's why I like to receive cards of very nice places I really need to visit on my trips around the world. Big cities from around the world! Or maybe you live in a beautiful small village! Show me where you are from or what beautiful nature is around you!

So some idea's:
*Pictures of touristic places (Near your place, or just places where you have been!)
*Nice scenes from your town, region or country where you live in.
*Cards from Amusement parks nearby your home town, (size of the parks does not matter).
*Postcards of nice Architecture or nice infrastructure

I prefer stamped cards with no envelope!

If you are wondering what to write on the card, maybe you can write something about you, your country or why you chose this card for me. Maybe you can teach me a nice sentence in your language.

Don't forget to put a date on the card, always funny to know what time it took to arrive.

Enjoy Postcrossing!
