About Portarss...

Hello, my friends of postcrossing,
I am Yang-chieh Lin. I am a receptionist and an English translator in a public sector in charge of domestic and international business. My job gives me the chance to meet different kinds of people. I used to be an English teacher in elementary and senior high school, but now I plan to be a diplomat in the future.
Because I am a literature major students, I like reading literary works, especially novels. I also do exercises every day, such as hiking and jogging. I also like traveling in different countries. In recent years, I have been to China (Xiamen), Czech Republic (Prague, Olomouc), U.K. (London, Oxford, Cambridge, Cornwall region), France (Paris), U.S (Houston, Seattle), Vietnam (Hanoi), South Korea (Seoul), Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kanazawa), Canada (Vancouver), and Malaysia (Penang). I love mailing postcard during travelling, and postcrossing gives me the chance to keep this habit. I really expect to share ideas and experience in teaching students, reading novel and poetry and travelling.

I am very glad to get the postcard whose postcrossers introduce their culture, history and natural beauty. ^_^*

I will really appreciate if you send me the card about a famous "writer, philosopher, scientist, musician whoever create wonderful things."
But I know it's hard to find one. So it's just a wish~

Please write me a card with "readable words." Because I am not an English native speaker, some handwriting is too hard for me to read.

如果您的母語是中文/華語,可以直接用中文/華語寫給我,繁體簡體字我都看得懂 (You can write me in Mandarin Chinese if it's more convenient for you.)

I am interested in direct swaps from China, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and South America. It's hard for me to get a card from these areas. But please don't make too many demands on the card. I spend much time selecting appropriate cards for postcrossing, so additional direct swap is time-consuming for me.

Best Regards~
