About Andrew...

My 1000th sent card arrived in France on 8 January 2024!

I live on the beautiful North Coast of New South Wales which has an ideal climate, wonderful beaches, a HUGE coffee culture and a laid back life style - I am so lucky to live here. Unfortunately we have suffered recently - and seemingly on-going... bushfire, drought, floods and of course COVID, but like the rest of our beautiful country, Australian's are resilient.

I enjoy seeing typical tourist cards, they suggest places that I may want to visit when I embark on travels next! I have been fortunate to travel to many countries around the world, My home, Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Tahiti, Fiji, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, The Galapagos Islands, Rapa Nui, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Greece, Poland, France, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, England, Scotland and Wales. The world is huge and yet so small, and everywhere is a long way from Australia. Please tell me why I should visit your part of the world - either for a first time - or again!

I work as a librarian in the Vocational Education and Training sector www.tafensw.edu.au and love to see our learner successes. I don't have a preference for any type of card, please send me something random, handmade or that you would like to receive. I do however really adore chooks (or chickens as most know them by) and LGBTQI themed cards and images are also welcomed. I really have no preferences, so please - send what you enjoy!

I try to send cards that you have shown an interest in or I try to match a card that I think appropriate to you! Perhaps not perfect or ideal, but I trust that postcrossing members appreciate the thought that goes into selection and sending cards?

I appreciate the time taken to select cards and stamps, and where possible I like to send Australian maxicards - it seems that not a lot of countries produce these any more? I love different stamps so your thoughts toward selection is appreciated.

Please don't feel obliged with the above!

I hope to share, through cards my great part of the world!
