About Polina...

Hello!
My name is Polina. I am a leading analyst in the sociological research department of the Information and Analytical Center of St. Petersburg. I have Master`s Degree in political science (HSE, Moscow).
I like traveling and reading books. I have been in many European countries and studied for a year in Dublin. I adore watching French romantic comedies and dramas in the original language and listening to French and Icelandic music.
In my free time I make unusual toys of fabric and wool, knit and ride my bicycle.
What kind of postcards do I like? Here you can see my small wish list :)
• Funny and romantic black and white photos.
• Flower elfs, especially by Cicely Mary Barker.
• Books and people who are reading.
• Bicycles, Vespa and vintage Volkswagen cars.
• Fairy pictures from the world of Beatrix Potter.
• When I was little, I took ballet. So images of ballerinas and dancers are very good idea.
• Illustrations with animals.
• Illustrations with flowers.
• Hot air balloons.
• Illustrations for children's books.
• My favorite films are: «Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain», «Les Émotifs anonymes», «This Beautiful Fantastic», «Breakfast at Tiffany's», «Pride & Prejudice», «The Lake House».
• Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Audrey Tautou, Juliette Binoche.
• Lavender field, Provence.

Unfortunately, I do not like postcards with views of the cities and tourist postcards. Could you kindly save them for those people, who appreciate such postcards and they will bring them a lot of joy!:)
I'm really looking forward to your postcards:)
Chers Postcrosseurs francophones, Je serais ravie de recevoir vos cartes écrites en français:) Merci d'avance!:)
Have a good luck and happy postcrossing!

P.S. I believe that even in the most difficult times there will always be people in whom goodness is the foundation of the foundations. It is important to always remain human and remember that only mutual support and openness and kindness of the heart can cope with all circumstances.
