I'm happy to get any kind of postcard. I especially like:

-City views or any pictures that show your city/country
-Anything cute, Hello Kitty, Kawaii, or Jetoy
-Pink, hot pink, purple, or bright colors
-Coffee, tea, and teapots
-Outdoor cafes and city streets
-Cats
-Typewriters
-Flowers
-Anything vintage/retro (anywhere from antique postcards - 1980s)
-Anything from your country/city that's unique/interesting
-Social justice, women's rights, feminism, liberal causes, hippie things
-Tae kwon do or martial arts (my daughter is an orange belt)

I think it'd be so interesting to hear what you did today or what keeps you busiest in life, or anything about you or life where you live. I would love to travel the world, and have only been to a few other countries so far, so postcrossing is awesome for learning about and experiencing other cultures.

About me: I'm 41, live in a 113-year-old house with my 10-year-old daughter and husband. I am a singer-songwriter and artist and my husband is a poet, and we like to go to local open mic nights. I love reading and adding to my book collection! I work in an office job during the day. I am very liberal and open-minded in my politics & worldview, but kind of old-fashioned too: sometimes I wish people would throw away their gadgets and just write letters and bring back old fashioned politeness, kindness, and real friendship.
