About Pita...
Greetings from Baltimore, Hon!
My name is Pita and I would love to hear about traditions, customs, or celebrations that are unique to your area. For example, every spring equinox, our local Chesapeake Bay crabbers and oyster men have a "burn your winter socks" bonfire to signal the end of winter and to bring good luck for the new crabbing season. :)
I also love to bake so feel free to send me your favorite recipes too!
• I collect lenticular (also known as 3D or "moving") cards and postcards.
See an example here: http://youtu.be/xZlnnEGg1zo
I also enjoy postcards of:
- Wonder Woman
- Japanese Gotochi Cards
- message in a bottle
- rabbits
- unicorns
- Weihnachtspyramide
- Christkindlmarkt
- retro housewife
- pin-up
- Halloween
- Christmas
- cakes, cookies, desserts & recipes
- kitschy roadside attractions (largest ball of twine, shoe shaped house, mystery spots, magical locations, etc... http://www.roadsideamerica.com/blog/)
(Please don’t send ad-cards)
But really, any smart, bright, interesting, homemade, or
artistic card is welcome :)
Thank you!
