Hello there!

My name is Andrea. I'm living and working in the beautiful town Munich. Munich is a town full of great parks, cafès, museums and of course the bavarian lifestyle ;) And I'am not talking about the Hofbräuhaus ;)
And that's why I'm living here. I love to travel and learn more about the different cultures in the countrys which I'm travelling. And so it's not surprising, that I found myself here to postcrossing.

A big love of mine is reading. I absolutely love books of any kind: books about history (tudor time, empire of rome, mayas etc.), biographies, mystery, thriller etc. I'am a cineast and spend a lot of time in cinemas whatching brand new movies, or very nostalgic black and white movies (Gone with the wind, Casablanca, Giants, Hitchcock movies etc.) I'm also a big fan of independend movies and of course: STAR WARS :)
In my leisure time I do historical fencing of the 15th. century which includes the long sword, the long knife, rapier, murder axe and sword and buckler after the old fencing masters like Johannes Lecküchner or Hans Thalhofer. Next I do middleage show fighting and reeanctment. Sometimes you can find me also costumed as Captain Jack Sparrow on special middleage markets -and yes: Also women can real look like Captain Jack ;)

I love any kind of postcards. It would be great if you could write me something from the heart, or write something or a short sentence in your own language (With translation). I love to receive recipes or a short historical tale from your country. What book do you read just in time, what's going on in your feelings in your live? What music do you love?

Just tell me something about you or your life, because we got totally different lifes. I want to know something new -and I'm sure, that one day I will travel to your country. Introduce me your favourite song, book, movie etc. What is the most craziest thing you have done? What is the most regret thing to you? What secret travelling tips can you give me, when I'am visiting your city or country?
I would like to recieve special shaped cards too.
It would be great to receive black and white postcards but also coloured ones, or black and white with a coloured detail, something about arts, history, animals, works of Simon Marsden and Tim Burton, I also love postcards with pictures from your country, landscapes and cities, steampunk, gothic, pirates, drawings (on the postcard's back too ;)), crazy postcards, antique maps, cartoons, something as unique and special as you are. In other words: surprise me! Any postcard is welcome
