Hello, my name is Hilda. I am married and live with my husband and our dog Dito in a small town in the north of the Netherlands. I work 32 hours a week as a district nurse. In addition, I have many hobbies. I love geocaching, it takes us to the most fun places around the world. An example is a cache that we found on the Great Wall of China, very special to search for and find. The country of China has a special meaning for me. I have three children, the youngest is adopted from China, she was 1 year old at the time. She is now 21 and is learning the Chinese language. That's why you can always send cards with something in Chinese, she likes to translate that for me! I also love reading books, listening to music and making music (I recently started playing the organ, I use online lessons for this). Also working in the garden is relaxing to do. It's fun to follow how everything grows and blooms. Not so long ago I started postcrossing. It's always nice to receive postcards, I don't care what kind of topics. I like to read something about yourself, a short story about what you've been through, how the weather is, what your favorite food is, etc. etc.
