About Svetlana...

Hi everyone,
I'm a tour-guide. I love learning new things about the world, be it a new language, or person, or place, or idea. I'm looking forward to getting a card from you, from a real person to a real person.
Don't know what to write? Please draw something: your day, your portrait, the dream you had last night. Have you cooked something amazing today? Please share the recipe! I'm into decluttering right now: do you have any thoughts to share on the matter? In short: anything is better than just a depressingly obvious "Happy postcrossing" message :)
I prefer my postcards stamped, no envelope please (unless there are several things you want to send). By the way, I love kids' museum guides (free booklets/brochures/maps for children you can find in your local museum), so if you have any of those, please know that getting them will make me very happy.
I appreciate your thought and effort no matter what, thank you for whichever postcard you finally choose to send. Still, there are cards that I prefer, so here are some types of postcards I'd love to receive from you.
- ad cards (if they are interesting and/or funny) Love them!
- William Shakespeare: traditional or modern, regular cards or theatrical leaflets, photos, drawings or paintings, all are welcome.
- cards from Teddy-bear museum of Seoul
- "Lord Brummel" by Rudi Hurzlmeier
- Anna Silivonchik (Анна Силивончик), Silke Leffler, Elsa Beskow
- books' illustrations (especially children's books of your native country)
- ecology
- cards of unusual shapes and sizes
- the history of costume (footwear, hairstyles etc.)
- mice, dormice, long-eared hedgehogs
- coffee & hot chocolate, coffeeshops, bookshelves
- Christmas cards in December
If you have no idea what to send, you can always send me a cereal box cut out: if it's from a foreign country, it may be fun!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I REALLY don't like glossy tourist postcards, please send them to those who appreciate them. If you can buy nothing else where you live, please consider sending anything else: a free ad card, a cereal box cut out etc.

Russian postal service can be unbelievably slow, so if your card is travelling for more than 70 days and I do not seem to have received it, please let me know and I'll register it.
Good luck and happy postcrossing!
