About Martin...

I'm a self-proclaimed non-pro gamer, having owned every console (from the Atari to the PS2, I still cannot afford the latest gadgets yet! =p ) and collect hobby cards such as Magic, Overpower and NBA cards. Apart from this, I am a corporate induction trainer and part time math teacher.

I'm interested in knowing the culture of another country. I like to watch shows that feature food, landscapes and /or traditions. If I have some time, I make it a habit to travel. Currently, I have my eyes set on travelling all of Asia first before going anywhere else in the world.

I would prefer to receive postcards that would show landscapes, food or attractions that many tourists do not go to. If this is not possible, surprise me.

I am very interested in having private swaps, let me know how often would you want to have a swap too. If it is one thing that I am truly interested in, it would be learning something you do not see in cable tv and the travel channel.

Also, it would really be great if you'd send the postcard by envelope, and with it any item that is from your country (i.e., a receipt from the last restaurant you dined in, a coin, or a sticker for instance) This would give me an opportunity to share the idea of connecting cultures to my classes -- what is it that people do in other countries.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

(PS. If you happen to see any recipe postcards from the rack, do send me one of those. Im currently taking on a cooking project -- learn the dishes of other countries and see how it actually tastes. Ü)
