I've always loved sending/ receiving postcards so was chuffed to discover Postcrossing.

I live in the town on St Albans (originally Roman) a small town north of London, which is famous for it's Abbey and the number of pubs (it is the home of CAMRA - the campaign for real ale).

It terms of hobbies, I enjoy most sports (watching and participating), but regularly play badminton, squash, run & cycle (mountain bike & road). I also love reading and am a member of a book club, which involves reading all sorts of books I'd never contemplate, which can be enlightening and depressingly boring in equal measure, but it's worth it for the gems!

I also enjoy traveling with my family and have covered a fair amount of the globe, including Cambodia most recently.

I have a son aged 18 who also loves sport....more than school and weekends often involve driving him to various activities & trying to keep up with him on a run.
