it‘s me: Anna. I live in the middle of Germany in a town called Braunschweig. I started postcrossing because I am really interested in other countries, cultures and languages. Besides I am excited to find some beautiful postcards in my postbox with some interesting words on it :). But I also love choosing the right postcard for other postcrossers!
I love all kind of stories and tales. I spend a lot of time watching TV-series or reading books. I prefer crime stories and thriller, but I also enjoy fantasy (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit) or childrens books like Alice in Wonderland, Momo (from the german author Michael Ende) or Astrid Lindgrens stories (Ronia, the rubber‘s daughter, Emil from Lönneberga, Pippi Longstocking). I am also interested in greek mythology.
So I would be very happy, if you can tell me: What is the name for "Pippi Longstocking" in your language and what does it mean? In German she is called "Pippi Langstrumpf"
I love any kind of cards! But if you need some ideas, here are some of my favorite things:

I‘d love to read some words or proverbs in your native language - and a translation in english for me, please ;). You can send me your favorite poem or just a joke, that you like. Or teach me a tongue twister in your language!
