About Perfileva...

Hi! My name is Daria. I'm an restorer documents of Federal archive located in Barnaul (it's a town in the south of Siberia). In free time I started studying calligraphy and painting. I collect postcards and stamps on different themes, both modern and vintage. They fascinate me as a material carrier of history. Together with your postcards and words, I have possibility to touch the new world and it's wonderful.
I love all kinds of postcards – strictly decorated or romantic, bizarre or handmade. I really like to draw and sometimes I hand-paint postcards or decorate the back of a postcard, if the recipient has nothing against it. Beauty and self-expression can take the most unexpected forms, so I don't want to limit you in choosing a good postcard. But if you are not sure what to send, these are some of my many interests:

- Spain, Portugal, Italy in all manifestations
- Landscapes
- Buildings: castles and palaces, churches and monasteries, traditional architecture
- Stained glass window, mosaics, tiles, tapestries...
- Arches, courtyards, windows of homes
- The knightly era
- Botanical illustration
- Ornamental codices, illuminated manuscripts
- Calligraphy and printmakings
- Classical art: painting and drawing
- Art from your country
- Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, John William Waterhouse and other Pre-Raphaelites
- Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac, Franklin Booth and other illustrators of fairy tales, myths and legends
- Vintage postcards
- Postcards with glitter *_*

The items listed above are just suggestions so don't worry if you don't have them. A sincere spark in your postcard is the main thing. If you want a two-way exchange, then write, I will be happy to exchange postcards with you. Happy postcrossing!
