Like food from Italy, France, Greece, Japan, Sweden and from many other kitchens (^.^) Farmers Market days in the Autumn are lovely.
If you find (or already have) old photo postcards in black & white of daily life in your country, it would be very nice!
I have been a keen photographer since my youth, and learned "dark-room"developing at the Art school and used a Minolta SR1 and negative films (black&white or diapositive).
Nowadays I use "lightroom" and modern cameras, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5, only 326 gram, is my favourite!
I love the Henri Cartier-Bresson photos!
New or old cards with bicyclists in full speed, or adverts (old ones) will gladden me, too. Are there any Tour de France posters in card-size?? Or Giro d'Itala, Vuelta a España?
In my own paintings I often try to catch the speed and movements of the cyclists in the big tours - Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta d'España. Or Tennis! My webpage is available in English. www.pomdah.se
Also I am a fan of Hayao Miyazaki, and the films from Ghibli studios. One cannot but love TOTORO.
And I smile every time I get a card with "Der kleine Maulwurf". I met him 1967 as a pause-cartoon in ZDF when we lived in Stuttgart/Germany, in the 1960-ies.
If you live in a country that have the stamps of the Chinese Zodiac NEW YEAR of 2018 - The year of the dog - I would be very happy if you put a dog on the card to me!
So many beautiful art works on these stamps!
Happy Postcrossing! (^.^)
PS. If you send me a card and do not hear back from me within 60 days, please let me know, write your postcrossing number to me and I will register it.
PPS. Alas many of my own sent cards are "Gone with the wind" > zoombies??? Lost, or has some other than the receiver liked the card and the stamps? It is a pity as I really try to find the right card and to put on nice stamps. :-(
