Hello! I live in Nairn, a small town in the Highlands of Scotland. From my window I can see the Nairn Dunbar golf course, the Moray Firth (an inlet of the sea where dolphins live), the Black Isle and the mountains of the far north of Scotland beyond that.

I have a big garden, where I grow lots of fruit and vegetables - apples, plums, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, potatoes, peas, beans, lettuce, tomatoes and lots more. I also grow a lot of weeds. :-)

About me: I live with my husband, two grown up children and a mad cat. I like reading, chocolate, gardening, chocolate, going places in my campervan and watching TV with my family. And did I mention that I like chocolate?

My avatar shows my favourite painting, 'Girl with a pearl earring' by Vermeer. I love all his works, and many others of the Dutch school, but this one is especially wonderful, and I have been lucky enough to see it for real at the Mauritshuis, The Hague, the perfect setting for it.

I will be happy if you send me a card that tells me something about you - the town or country you live in, your work or hobby, your favourite things, or just a picture you like - surprise me! Prehistoric sites are especially interesting to me. I like hand-made cards too. Unless your card is very precious, I prefer it not to be in an envelope - I love it when a card arrives a little bit battered, looking like it had an interesting journey. But I'll be happy to receive any kind of card - I enjoy them all.
