About Pauline...
Hi,
I'm married to a wonderful Scotsman and have two step-children. I live in hot, sunny Florida, but I'm originally from the mountains of WV & miss them very much. Hubby and I are taphophiles and were married in a cemetery at midnight beneath a full moon. I am a "mom" to 4 dogs; a beagle, a collie, and two min pins. And, eight chickens. I love hiking, gardening, nature, cooking, preserving, several different types of crafts. Reading books, visiting historical sites/museums are passions of mine.
I would love if you included a few words about yourself on the postcard. If you don't know what to write you can tell me about your favorite food, why you like it, a good book, song or piece of art that you love, why you joined Postcrossing, etc. Also please date your card. I like my cards sent without an envelope as I enjoy looking at the stamps on them as well.
Here are some ideas for postcards to send: *Historical interest *Monet type art *Wildlife *Nature *Cemeteries (especially older looking cemeteries) *Old buildings/ruins *Castles *Book/magazine cover themed *Oddities/unusual things *Betty Boop *Birds/butterflies *Anything Scottish related *Anything from 1939 (reminds me of my dad who recently passed away) *Recipe postcards* Vintage *Steam-punk *Wildflowers *Black & White*Pagan/Witchcraft themed
I mark received the day I receive your card. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy Postcrossing!
