Hello to you guys,
my name is Katja, am 43 years old and I live in Leipzig, which is a town in the East of Germany, known for Bach, Goethe and the peaceful revolution of the former GDR.
I'm the mother of a 5 year old. Since I became a mother, my life became much, much better. For me personally, there is nothing better than having a child and taking care of it.
I love the nature and spent a lot of time outdoors.
Also, I like reading- the last three books I read were Becoming from Michelle Obama, A street cat named bob und Someone like you by Nick Hornby. All these are English books, not written in my mother tongue, because I love reading in that language. 20 years ago or so, I spent almost a year in the United States as an Au Pair and I just want to keep that beautiful language in my life.
Further hobbies include cooking, playing instruments, running, and doing some little art projects.
I love the idea behind postcrossing and get excited every time, I receive a new random adress from here or receive a postcard from somebody out there.
