Please, I collect Postcards, not folded cards or stickers for cars or suitcases. ThanK you.
I'm from Gatineau, Québec, Canada. I've also previously lived in Shawville, Québec - Ottawa, Ontario and Victoria, British-Colombia.
I work for MSI under contact with Bell Canada. I used to work in the office in Ottawa but since COVID pandemic started I now work from home wich I do prefer. I don't drive and the bus ride at night could easily take up to and hour and half if not more depending on traffic.
I have 2 children, and 8 grand-children. I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies and playing card games with my family. I have also traveled through the United States from east to west and through Canada west to east when I was ten yrs old which got me started with my postcard collection. I also crossed Canada from Ottawa to Victoria a few times by bus and also crossed the province of Québec on our way to New-Brunswick visiting Bas-Caraquet. My postcard collection has cards from all over the world and are kept in binders sorted by continents, countries, provinces and then cities with accompanying maps. Also each person who gave me a card is represented by a logo so I know who gave me which card. Presently I am in the process of scanning all of them and place them on a memory card so I can view them without actually taking out the binders.
Although I have lots of cards, most of my cards are fairly old from the 1999 or earlier.
My favorites are cards I would like to receive, or if I have not yet entered cards from your country you can see what types of cards I like. Mostly though, I would love cards that makes me discover your country's landscape, city views, buildings, castles, church's etc.... and yes I love the sea, lighthouses, ships etc.
Also when sending a card can you please enter the date and not write or place stamps over the postcard's descriptive comments. If the description is in symbols can you please translate? If it's too long you can always send me an email with the description once I've recorded the postcard as received.
Thank You very much in advance for all your cards.
Best wishes to all and happy postcrossing!
