About Monika...

Hello! :)
I'm Monika. I'm a little shy, but always friendly, helpful and optimistic girl with a head full of ideas and dreams. I have lots of various hobbies and interests.

I love learning new things about the world, that's why I joined Postcrossing, it's my way to travel and discover the world.

I don't have a long "wish list". I just want to see the town where you live or something typical for YOUR country/region for example, folklore clothes, dances, money, regional curiosities(something like Matryoshka from Russia, legends, customs...), means of transport, dishes, nature, animals etc. So send me postcards showing it, please. You'll make my day showing me something that I've never heard about. ;)
If it's possible send me only postcards from your country, not a country that you visisted years ago or even never visited...

Single-view or multi-view, painting or photo, historical view or current, vintage or normal... it's all your choice.
Oh, and I love ships, lighthouses and sea in general. Maps and tongue twisters are also great. ;)

Christmas/New Year/Easter/Birthday (21st February)/Nameday(4th May) cards are also welcome, if they are sent at the right time.
Selfmade cards and postcards are always welcome!

I DON'T collect the serie "Greetings from..." by Postallove...nor Flag cards, so better keep them for the Postcrossers who will be happier than me, getting them. :)

What can you write on the postcard?
*something about the place/object showed in the photo
*something about you, your hobbies, family, pets
*your favourite songs in your language
*some words in your language

Spanish, German and Portuguese speakers — please write to me in your mother tongue. I'm very happy when I can read these languages.

Oh, and of course, if you' learn or speak Polish, feel free to
write to me in my language. :D

If you're a native speaker of any Slavic/Germanic/Romance language, you can write your postcard using it(I can read cyrylic, but sometimes its cursive is a little problematic, so please try to write it clearly:)). I have lots of fun trying to understand them.
I collect souvenir fridge magnets, if you send me one, I'll send you one back. :)

If you send a postcard in an envelope, could you please add something small written in your language? It can be an ad, a brochure, a page from newspaper, a page from a mini calendar, etc. Of course any other gifts(like stickers, teabags, washi samples etc.) are also welcome. ;) I'm trying to collect coins (the smallest value). I already have: Thailand, Luxemburg, Kazakhstan, China, Ukraine, Malaysia, Brazil, Croatia, Mexico and South Korea. You will make me endless happy, sending to me a coin from another country. :)

And...I love writing letters. So if you feel like writing me a letter, just do it. I will surely answer it. :) I would especially love to write letters in Spanish or Portuguese.

Thank you for reading. Happy Poscrossing! ♥
