I enjoy antiques shopping, tasting craft beers and lovely cheeses, decorating cakes, and hosting dinner parties with friends. I am learning to crochet. I have a huge Halloween Party each year, usually with a theme. Recent party themes have been Time Traveling, Harry Potter, Dia de los Muertos, and a New Orleans Jazz Funeral of the last known victim of the Axman. My favorite books/movies are J.R.R. Tolkien/The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and E.M. Forster, and most British costume dramas and British comedy. I like magical realism as well. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania filled with Victorian homes. My husband and I have been slowly restoring our own Victorian home. We have two delightful cats, each named for a literary character or author. I love to sing both solo and as a member of a choir, and I am learning to play the hammered dulcimer and the piano. I love many kinds of music, including pop, classic rock, jazz, blues, classical, ethereal, new age, world fusion, broadway, movie music, a cappella and choral, folk, bluegrass, etc. But I dislike contemporary country, heavy metal, and rap intensely. My favorite pop/rock artist of all time is David Bowie. I also like art of all kinds. I love all postcards. Please send me something you love. I enjoy postcards because of the connection made to a person I've never met and place I've never been. I am not a "collector" of any particular type of card. I just like to connect with you. I also enjoy a little mystery.
