I'm a 50-something former teacher turned stay-at-home mom. My husband and I have adopted 3 boys in 3 years (current ages 11, 12, and 14) and they keep us busy. We live in rural Ohio near the heart of Amish country. In my freetime, I'm a freelance writer and proofreader, a home-school assessor, and a substitute teacher.
