About Orionid...

Hello, I'm Caro from Germany. Nice to meet you :)

I love languages and study German, English and Educational Science to become a teacher for secondary school (5th - 12th form). My favorite hobby is geocaching, I've been an active member for eight years now and love everything about it, the thrill of the chase, discovering new places around town and being outside in the nature

As a kid, I always loved getting postcards from all over the world and whenever any relatives went on a holiday, I made sure to remind them of sending one. Nowadays, when ever I see a postcard in my mailbox, I feel a bit like a little girl again and get excited, wondering who sent it and what the person wants to share with me.

As you can see, every card you will send me will be appreciated. However, if you need some inspiration, here are a few things I like:
- a postcard you would like to receive yourself
- astronomy
- geology (volcanoes etc.)
- plants
- history
- meteorology
- manatees
- food
- minerals and gemstones
- myths and legends
- Rock music (especially bands from the 70s and 80s)
- Holiday cards for any holiday

But these are just some ideas, feel free to go wild ;)

No idea what to write on your card? How about ...
... something about you or your country,
... your favorite poem
... a legend from your city/country
... a recipe you want to share
... the name of your favorite perfume and what it smells like (to you)
... a random fact that amazed you recently (I am always eager to learn something new ;))

Just anything besides the usual "hello and greetings" would be great, because empty cards look so sad...

If I have not registered your postcard and it has already expired, please write me a message, so I can at least register the ID ;)...

Thank you and have a nice day, I am looking forward to hearing from you
