About NycteaFlintstone...

Hello postcrossers!
My name is Chiara, I'm 28 years old and I live in a little town in Mugello, a beautiful area in the surroundings of Florence (Tuscany, Italy).
I studied prehistoric archaeology, to be precise, I specialized myself in paletnology (the study of lithic instruments).
Nowadays I'm working as a librarian in my town's public library and I like it, even if I still hope in a future professional life as an archaeologist.
In my spare time:
I love to read. My favorite genres are prehistoric fiction, fantasy, dystopias and historical novel. My favorite books are Harry Potter series and A song of Ice and Fire saga.
I like very much to go to the cinema or to watch films and TV series (I'm crazy for TV series!) comfortably lying on the sofa.
I like also to take photos of interesting things around me, to go to the gym and to create objects with different technics.
And from now on I will have fun exchanging postcards with all of you!

All postcards are welcome, handmade ones too, but if you don't know what to send me, here you have some suggestions:

Landscapes, views, famous monuments, nature and so on of your town, city, region or country (tourist, greetings from, multiview and painted view cards included)

Archaeological sites, especially prehistoric ones, in your surroundings

Places linked to legends or strange/curious stories

Anything which is typical of your country

Books, libraries, bookshops and everything related to reading

Illustrations of famous or not famous artists (prehistoric, fantasy, cute/nice subjects or something else)

Art, from antiquity to modern times, not contemporary (for example Mucha, Van Gogh, Magritte, Klimt, impressionism, liberty, art noveau...)

Comic strips

Nerd stuff (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Indiana Jones...)

Cats or owls

Vintage and retrò

Funny, curious and strange things

Festivity cards in the right season (for example Christmas, Easter, birthday cards...)

Please do NOT send me:
AD cards
Erotic or offensive or vulgar postcards

I collect bookmarks and stamps so I would be very pleased if you'll decide to send me one bookmark together with the postcard or if you'll choose a particular stamp.
I like postcards with some stickers or little drawings or ink stamps, so feel free to be creative.
Please put the date on the postcard and write something about you, your city/country or why you have chosen that postcard, don't send me a blank card, it would be sad; and please, if there isn't on the card the name of the place, write it for me, I would be very happy to know where it come from or which is the place on it.
Feel free to write me in Italian, English, French or Spanish (I can read it but I can't write in this language).
You can choose to send me a postcard with or without an envelope, it doesn't matter.

Thank you for reading, I'm waiting for your postcards!
Happy postcrossing =D
