Hi, I'm Mark. I've enjoyed sending postcards and letters to friends and family for years, and am excited to expand my hobby here. I was born and raised near New York City, and currently live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I love it here, the city has a great art and food scene, and is quite friendly.

Besides sending postcards, my hobbies are hiking & photography, reading (especially science fiction), and playing board games with friends. I'm a software developer by trade, which is also what I studied in university.

I haven't travelled much outside of the United States, but I would like to travel more. My dream trip right now is Iceland, for landscape photography and to see the northern lights.

I love all sorts of post cards, and will be quite happy with anything you care to send, but if you're looking for ideas here are some favorite themes:

* Weird or unusual cards
* Space, stars, or astronomy
* Sayings or quotes
* Queer Pride
* Northern Lights
* Moomins, especially if you're actually sending from Finland
* Local landmarks, or just pictures of your area
* Landscapes
* Go/Baduk/Weiqi (board game)
* Cats
* Calligraphy
* Books
* Art cards, especially from local artists

There are no children in my household, so if you want to send something "adult themed", that's okay. I prefer if you send postcards without an envelope, if possible.
