Hello!
I'm Ondina and I live in Aveiro, a small town by the sea in the north of Portugal.
Aveiro is known as the "Venice of Portugal" because of its canals and traditional boats.
I'm a proud mom of a 12 year old boy who is my sunshine!
I also have two lovely young cats that we adopted at Xmas time (2017). It was a wonderful present from my hub to help me overcome some tough times healthwise. I just fell in love with them from the moment I met them :-) And they have been a great help ever since!

As for my job, I'm an English teacher. Teaching languages is a passion. I love sharing beautiful things with my students :)
When I'm not teaching I enjoy doing arts and crafts.
I especially like doing patchwork and handmade soaps.
Also, since I've been diagnosed as a pre-coeliac, I've been on a journey to discover new ways of cooking healthier food that still tastes great! At some point I discovered a new passion... this time for food!!! I love posting my pictures on Instagram and giving my followers new ideas of things to cook/bake.

I've been away from postcrossing for some time as I was so busy at work I hardly had time for myself... then I got ill and I had to find a way to fight back and rediscover the pleasure of living and have time to do the things I love!
So, here I am :-) ready to enjoy postcrossing again :-)

I'll be pleased with any postcards you send me but if you need some help deciding, check my list ;-)

My favourite postcards are:
* views/landscapes from your hometown or country;
* sunset/sunrise;
* rainbows;
* cats;
* food - especially sweet things ;)
* handmade;
* anything that makes you smile, will make me smile too :)

**If it's that time of the year, I would be very happy to receive special postcards for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc ;-)

If you have beautiful stamps in your country I'd love to see them on the postcard!

If you can, would you please write something in your mother tongue? With translation, of course.
You can write anything else you want...
