Niklaas

Ny name is Niklaas (Nik). I’m born and raised in the Canadian prairies, but my family originally hails from The Netherlands (mom is from Middelburg and Dad is from Enschede - I love matje herring, bourenkohl, and other Dutch foods, but have failed to learn the language). I teach high school English and Psychology classes, including AP Psych. I enjoy reading contemporary lit, fantasy, sci-fi and horror, sports, and comic books. I also love to collect vinyl records and play them on my 1964 Koronette stereo.

To begin, I love all postcards and greatly appreciate any postcard sent, including multi-view and homemade cards. Something new and different is always welcome…could be the beginning of a new collection! That being said, some people (like myself) enjoy hearing some ideas, so I will suggest a few:

I'd love to hear about what you find fascinating. Tell me about yourself. I would love to hear about your favourite board game. At the moment, mine is “Twilight Struggle”. But I also love to play a variety of “Munchkin” games.

I am a stamp collector and would love it if anyone could send me their used stamps, rather than discarding them (but please don’t cut your precious postcards).
