Hello world,

the thought of sending and receiving postcards from all over the world sounded very intriguing (after reading about postcrossing in the local newspaper). It is fascinating to imagine other peoples lifes, especially if you are into travelling.

It is is like looking through a window and getting a little glimpse about another persons life from far away. It brings travelling home to me.

About myself: I am married to a wonderful man, have one daughter (10 yrs old) and two stepsons (14 and 13 yrs old). We got a familiy dog (former greek stray) and two gerbils.

I am working in the health profession. Love reading books, especially historical fiction (favourite author Diana Gabaldon).

Postcards I like:
- landscapes and city views (tell me a little bit about them please if you can)

- Pin-ups

- Berries (strawberries, rasberries ...)

- B/W postcards especially showing faces and emotions

- indegineous art or life (spend 6 month in an indeginous community in Australia in the Red Center)

- I don't mind nudity

- Propaganda postcards

- Map cards

- weird cards

- Nouvelle images

But apart from that I am happy to receive any postcard. I think it would be nice, if you could write a little message on the back of the card :) e.g.

"What do you see, when you step out of your front door or look out of your window?"

or

"What made your day today?"

"What is your favourite recipe "

"or whatever you like to write"

Any message telling me about your life will be appreciated! I do not mind handmade or ad cards. Any card will make me happy!
