My name is Nataliya (Наталия). I was born and raised in Riga (capital of Latvia), lived in Lithuania (Šilutė), where my parents worked, but now I live in Moscow (capital of Russia) together with my husband Egor, 18 years old son Sandis and two cats (Butyavka & Just Space).
I enjoy reading books, especially dystopian novels. My favorite writers are Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Yevgeny Zamyatin, Stephen King, Stanislaw Lem, Mikhail Bulgakov, Chuck Palahniuk, Haruki Murakami, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Erich Maria Remarque, Anthony Burgess, George Orwell... I will be glad if you recommend me a good book!
I like to listen to "The Cure", "Nirvana", "The Clash", "Kraftwerk", "The Ramones", "The Smiths", "Blur", David Bowie, "My Chemical Romance", Mylene Farmer, "Brainstorm", "Imagine Dragons", "The Offspring" and I'll be glad to get a card with pictures of this musicians!
I love art. My favorite painters are Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Henri Matisse...
I also like traveling and learn something new about different countries, communicate with people, learn their way of life.
My husband Egor also likes to help me with postcrossing, and will be very happy to receive postcards with the railway and with industrial themes. He also loves cycling (Giro d'Italia, Le Tour de France, Vuelta a España,
classic cycling...), ski jumping (Vierschanzentournee), skiing, downhill.
My favorite postcards are:
• Fairy tales, mythology, science fiction
• interesting photos (I started photo classes),
• Objects of contemporary art
• Something unusual, creepy, abstract, surrealism and cyberpunk
• Beautiful landscapes or interesting places from your country or city
• Cultural events
• Dedicated to historical events
• Christmas or New Year's postcard during December
• Photos, drawings or caricature of famous people (leader of the country, sportsmen, musicians, writers, artists, movie stars).
• Your home country cartoon
•❤️ Handmade cards - it's great! I love them! They have their own unique soul...
❤️ Instead of a postcard you can send me a photo of your view from the window: I wonder what is going on under the window of your house. I'll be happy to receive such photo!
In any case, I will be glad to any card! To receive cards is a holiday! :)
I really like it if you write something on the card about you, your country, your work, your family or anything else you would like to share with me.
Please no envelope!
Interesting stamps are embellishment to any card! :)
Thank you very much for taking your time to read my profile!!!
I'm looking forward your card!!!
Stay safe and healthy!
Happy Postcrossing! :)
