Hello World!

My name is Natalie, I am 22 years old and I live in Saint-Petersburg. It is a wonderful city with beautiful palaces, embankments, bridges, theaters and museums. St. Petersburg is often called the Venice of the North.

Now I'm finishing a five-year training course at the Faculty of Economics and Finance, I have a state examination and the defense of the thesis project in early June. I am very worried and look forward to when these tests end. Wish me good luck! :)

I love a quiet and measured life. My main hobbies are knitting (especially I like to knit socks), cross-stitching, baking (all kinds of buns and cakes, most recently I learned to bake a real home-made bread) and of course books! I read always and everywhere: in the subway, in the evening, taking away the hours at sleep, and even in queues.
I adore classical literature and detectives. All the time I open new authors for myself but also like to spend time with old friends: Eugene Onegin, Nicholas Nickleby, Cyrano de Bergerac, Lisbeth Salander and of course Miss Marple and Poirot.

My life can not be imagined without nature, I'm passionately in love with it. My family has a house in the suburbs - 60 km from the city (only 20 minutes by high-speed train). All the weekends I spend there. I like to work in the garden, go for long walks with a neighbor's dog in the forest, ride a bicycle on all the country roads and paths. I also really love walks along the bay and the birds watching.
My most favorite time is autumn - nature becomes very beautiful and, most importantly, the season of mushrooms begins!

I really like these things and will be very pleased if you have the opportunity to send a posrcard with it.
